I've visited Jersey Airport several times, and I must say that my overall impression has been quite positive. The airport staff consistently provide excellent service, which is always appreciated.

A recent investigation by the Civil Aviation Authority found that departures from Jersey Airport were, on average, only 17 minutes behind schedule last year. Its a small airport so I thought I would be disembarked and exiting the airport in a relatively short time....52 minutes from touchdown to leaving the airport ( and I was one of the the first to leave with my luggage ) is totally unacceptable....The flight from Glasgow to Jersey arrived 10 minutes late, I checked what time the return flight arrived back in Glasgow and it was 62 minutes late. All because of understaffing there were obviously not enough ground staff to accomodate the 2 aircraft that had arrived. It took 15 minutes from touchdown to getting the steps in place to allow us to exit the aircraft, when I looked back there was no sight of any luggage handlers removing cases from the aircraft.
