Jersey Airport — Local services in St. Peter

I've visited Jersey Airport several times, and I must say that my overall impression has been quite positive. The airport staff consistently provide excellent service, which is always appreciated.

Looking at some press information I'm pleased to note that Ports of Jersey has made significant progress in ensuring flights operating out of the island depart on time. A recent investigation by the Civil Aviation Authority found that departures from Jersey Airport were, on average, only 17 minutes behind schedule last year. This represents a notable improvement compared to previous experiences.

We arrived at the airport and having had the 2 jabs thought this should be a breeze HOLD THAT THOUGHT we went to get our test done and it appears I filled the forms in wrong and we couldn't prove or provide document proof we had both jabs So our options were to self isolated for 10 days or go back home(we were here for a 7 day holiday) so we sat calling doctors and anyone who could help and hit a brick wall at every step, so I think I lost the plot and slung my baseball cap on the floor in frustration, After about 2 hour we told the people at the test centre we had decided it would be better to return home 😭 Someone must have notice our frustration and decided to help........ Based purely on arrivals, I found Jersey Airport to be understaffed. Its a small airport so I thought I would be disembarked and exiting the airport in a relatively short time....52 minutes from touchdown to leaving the airport ( and I was one of the the first to leave with my luggage ) is totally unacceptable....The flight from Glasgow to Jersey arrived 10 minutes late, I checked what time the return flight arrived back in Glasgow and it was 62 minutes late. All because of understaffing there were obviously not enough ground staff to accomodate the 2 aircraft that had arrived. It took 15 minutes from touchdown to getting the steps in place to allow us to exit the aircraft, when I looked back there was no sight of any luggage handlers removing cases from the aircraft.
