We spent a full day and night with Jordan Tracks. We left early in the morning with a Jeep and we visited the desert until sunset. During the day we also had a lovely lunch in the desert, prepared on spot by our guide.
The desert is beautiful and a unique experience. The camp is great also, we had a nice cooked dinner, warm showers and a lovely campfire with traditional music. The tent is ok, having lights and a double bed. The view when you wake up in the morning and open the tent door is just breathtaking. We wished we never left.
Please note there are no electrical outlets in the tent and no phone signal or wifi anywhere. If you have friends or family who would worry about your digital absence for one day and one night, you should inform them about this before you leave with the jeep from the village. Also, there are no towels or shower gels provided, you should bring your own.
A big minus point for the guide and the guy from the camp who could barely speak english. The experience would have been 10 times more amazing if they could tell you some stories and more details about the desert...
Read moreI think our excursion in the Wadi Rum was the best experience of our whole Jordan trip (which was wonderful altogether) thanks to Jordan Tracks.
First of all, before our departure, Saleem was very helpful to give us advice to chose an excursion. We chose the Bedouin and Sunset Safari Tour. It includes a several hours long Jeep trip in Wadi Rum's protected area to the must-sees of the desert, an hour-long camel ride, a tea break to enjoy the sunset and a night at the camp in the middle of the desert. I also wanted to ride a horse in the desert, which was not offered in the package. Saleem thus organized a 2-hours ride for me the next day. All of this experience was incredible.
I really enjoyed the excursion. Our guide, Raheed, was really nice to us and we really enjoyed his company since he talked and joked with us the whole time. Even the man who took care of the camels, Abu Ali, was really nice to us even though he did not speak English. I really recommend...
Read moreWe were in the Wadi Rum with Jordan tracks for the second time. We stayed there for three days, sleeping outside for two nights and one in the Jordan tracks’ camp. We were 12 people from the same family between 7 and 77 ( ! ) and everything was perfect : the two drivers/guide, Badder and Shafi, were very friendly and caring, the food prepared by Saïd was perfect. Obviously the sight seeing was breathtaking ! After two nights outside, the camp was comfortable with toilets and nice showers, nested in a beautiful place. The concert by Saleem was a very good moment to finish this astonishing trip. Christian and his...
