I witnessed something truly beautiful — a harmonious rhythm between people, livestock, and wildlife.

As we drove through, I saw giraffes walking gracefully beside homesteads, zebras grazing peacefully next to cows and sheep. It was not a scene staged for tourists — it was everyday life.

What struck me even more were the heart-to-heart conversations I had with the local Maasai community. I was amazed by their practice of rotational grazing, where land is managed thoughtfully to allow wildlife and livestock to thrive...

I am not too familiar with this association so I cannot comment on them. But I can comment on what I have seen happening to the overall Masai Mara since my first visit in 1994. And subsequent many visits often. I feel the whole game reserve and wild animal issues are on a downward trend. Animal populations have drastically dwindled. Fences have cut off migration routes. Illegal domestic animal grazing into the park remains an issue. If something is not done soon and drastically then the whole Mara Area will lose its beauty!!!
