Mount Kipipiri is an isolated volcano in the Wanjohi Valley, on the Kinangop Plateau near to the Aberdare Range. It is about 20 miles northeast of Lake Naivasha, which is visible from the summit. Wildlife includes Colobus and Sykes monkeys, elephants and buffalo and abundant birdlife.

My happy place always seems to to be with nature this is my 5th hike this year and let me tell you it was as exciting as ever. It's a day's hike, took 5 hour climb to the summit and another 2 hours coming down. We had 2 KWS guides escorting us they were really friendly and alert the whole time. The trail was beautiful and a bit cold but worth it the view at the top was just breathtaking 😍😍 Definitely a...

A decent hike with great views. However, it's far too expensive for what it is and unfortunately the Rangers are becoming greedy and want crazy prices to accompany you. The Rangers don't actually add any value to the hike or try to show you anything, they just want to get you up and down as...

I used this hill to acclimatise for Kilimanjoro. Did not regret it. Rises to above 3400. The ground is soggy wet and the air chilly. You do not in expensive guides. Just call KFS. The rangers will be happy to take you up there at reasonable rates.

Awesome day long 7-9 hrs hiking excursion through the Kenya Forest Service plantations and 1,000 mtrs elevation. Carry your rain coat. It rains without warning and gets super cold up there!
