A True Paradise! Highly Recommended! The moment we entered the bright green gate, we were in a true paradise. My husband and I shared the two bedroom 1.5 bath apartment with our 30 year old son. The apartment was sparkling clean and had a nice kitchen with unique, comfortable furniture and a roof deck. Sarah and her husband were GREAT hosts and everyone working there was so very kind and helpful. Sarah's brother, Joseph, was our driver during our stay. He is really a very special person. Their garden is AMAZING and our breakfast options included fresh eggs. Dinner and lunch are also available and very tasty with fresh garden greens. I highly recommend a tour of the organic garden, goats and duck pond. LKP is outside of Nairobi center where real people live, but it is close to all of the tourist locations in Karen. I loved hearing the distant call to prayer from the nearby mosque and seeing people dressed in their finest, colorful clothes for church on Sunday. KLP is a short distance on a dirt road off of the main road where everything is sold - food, wood, shoes, iron gates, pottery, you name it! Staying here gave us a glimpse of Kenyan life that we would have completely missed out on if we had stayed in the city or in one of the more traditional hotels in Karen. The room rates can't be beat. THANK YOU for making us feel so welcome. We will miss you until we come back. All our best wishes to you with the farm and...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn the mid of the dusty and busy town there is an oasis which is called Karen Little Paradise.||Immediately after arriving we felt relaxed. The atmosphere was calm, friendly and safe. We were greeted by the attentive and welcoming manager and staff.||We had a standart room which was clean, beautifully decorated and had a hot shower with reasonable pressure.||We liked the place so much we came back to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere again.||On the down side the dinner was overpriced (a standart Kenyan food for 15$ per person) although reasonably tasty.||Now a very important message to the clients and the manager. The steps that lead from the bathroom in the standart room are VERY DANGEROUS!!! After taking a shower one of us slipped and fell on them injuring the back. The injury is serious and I wish no one has the same experience!|I strongly urge the manager to fix some fabric/rubber stoppers on the steps asap! |If you are a client, please, be causious! Do put the towels on both of the steps leading from the bathroom.||Be safe and...
