Luang Prabang Bowling Alley — Local services in Luang Prabang

Really the only option for late night fun in Luang Prabang. The lanes aren't in the best condition and the ball selection isn't great, but if you came here for a quality bowling experience, you probably aren't in the right place.

This is a great place to have fun and drink some beers with fellow travelers and a few locals mixed in. The beers are more expensive than in town (though still priced fairly reasonably) and the costs all around are fair. They also have archery out back in the parking lot which is a good time, but closes earlier than the rest of the bowling alley.

If you are looking to go bowling, come here early. It is often pretty dead earlier in the evening. If you are looking to drink and have fun, and don't care if there's a long wait for a lane, come later in the night when the bars in town are starting to wrap up. Definitely worth...

Brilliant place to come and burn a few hours, take the game however you like fast or slow it doesn’t matter, the staff are happy for you to do whatever you please as long as you’re paying for either bowling or beer.

Right outside the front door is an archery range use this at your own demise as the two staff running it just want to take your money and let you loose with bows and arrows no training no making sure you’re safe just here you go, go wild. That being said it’s a fantastic opportunity to just have fun.

Very reasonably priced a large beer will set you back the same amount as a game of bowling so for 100,000 kip you can have ten rounds and a large beer, it’s great fun for the price, obviously it’s the only bowling alley in Luang Prabang and it shows because it’s quite neglected on the last couple of lanes. After walking around town and hiking I was ready for something different, how bout some bowling! I got there little before 9, there was only maybe 3 lanes takin. It’s 40k kip game per person, I was drinking Heineken while I was there no carlsburg 🥲 it ok tho there were 35k per bottle. By 10 pm the place was packed with people from all walks of life, which is fantastic everybody drinking talkin playing having a great time. I was talking to this girl from a group of girls from Denmark, she told me they were in the hospital for 2 days from food poisoning from a kind of bacteria 😮😮. OMG one tough cookie.
