Delinkalna is the highest point in Aluksne county. The tower is 27 meters high and it has been built as a collaboration between Estonia and Latvia, along with 5 other lookout towers in the close vicinity. There are a few picnik places by the tower as well. It does not seem to be overcrowded at any point. There is a decent parking lot along with information at the base of the hill. The hike up the hill is 800 meters.

Its beautiful, feels pretty safe too even though i am afraid of heights. Approach from Māriņkalns when driving from Alūksne. Turn right at the Māriņkalns, then slightly left and keep the general direction for few kilometers until you see signs. You can also Approach from the other side, but then you have a step climb uphill without a pathway.

The highest point of Aluksne region with an impressive view from the top, one of the best I have seen in Latvia, especially looking to west and south. Stable tower so can be accessed even by those afraid of heights.

The tower offers a beautiful view. Access via a gravel road to the parking area at the foot of the hill. From there, a climb of about 800 m awaits – quite a workout on a hot day. Located in a nature reserve. There is a toilet at the parking area. Well...
