Last week me and my aunts went to climb Mountain Banang. You can park your car where the red arrow pointed, it is like a small side parking area. The moment that we start climbing this mountain, we already feel pressured due to road steepness. The locals told us that the road is around 3km, but most of them are just climbing up. During around 1.2km, we found another trail to another spot, the jogger told us not to go there because that path is very dark and there is no clear sign for people to walk. Around 2.2km, we spot a bus stop that acts as a resting place. We even joke about when the bus is coming to pick us up. Throughout the journey, you can see many fauna and monkeys, which I recommend steer away from because they usually show up in packs. We took around two hours, with multiple rest, to reach the top, which ended up at the radio tower. We didn't have the time to look at the view because it was getting late. We spent around one and half hours going down because we needed to control our speed and maintain balance.
