Big Rose Caterers — Local services in Kajang Municipal Council

We placed an order for 180pax but the food quantity did not filfill the number of pax we ordered. Mutton perattal, Dhal curry, Chicken sambal, Basmati rice For my father's 40 days memorial prayers They brought the food at 4pm. After completing prayers and rituals at 8.15pm people started to take dinner. But only left with 1 pot of rice in which they supposedly deliver 2 pots. Only a part of the guests arrived ate food, but the rice was already finished. When we checked with them they told us that they forgot to deliver another pot of rice. Half of our relatives went back without eating. Although half of the relatives went back without eating the food it still was not sufficient. We called several times to check their status and rushed them to deliver on time. Again when we checked with them they kept on telling that they were otw but they delivered 40 minutes later. Upon delivery the rice wasn't cooked properly, dhal was not fully cooked and other items did not meet the expectations. After the prayer session we called them again to ask for an explanation or even a compensation or a partial refund. But the person in charge was so rude, she even critiqued our religious beliefs to scold us. Still we were polite but she crossed her limit while responding using disrespectful words. She didn't even bother to take responsibility or to handle us patiently. She didn't even asked an apology but instead she kept on attacking us rudely like she didn't want to entertain us although it was their side of mistake to deliver the food very late and the quality of the food was not up the level they promised. She sounds so rude and irresponsible. Thus we do not recommend this catering and we would like to highlight that it is a huge risk to book food under this catering also we noticed a similar occurrence of the issue was reported in Google reviews 3...

We had a family gathering this Malaysia Day, 16th September 2025, for 70 pax. We decided to cater from Big Rose Caterers having tried their food at a wedding & being happy with the taste & presentation. The owner put me in touch with Shanti. It was a good experience from the get go. She was accommodating all the way and prompt in her communication. Big Rose Caterers are my go to caterers for any family event , or church event. They're absolutely professional to work with, the food is delicious, presented in a very elegant way and the waiters' service is top notch. The decorative aspects of the catering & food presentation such as flower colors, table cloth and skirting are meticulously looked into to match the theme color of the event.
