Amazing but hard experience to climb

Warnings first: Don't try to climb up the peak with flip-flops etc., take enough water with you and inform yourself before even trying!

We went there from Oriental village and came across the Seven Wells Waterfall (beautiful place, especially after the hike). Then you enter the jungle. The hike takes you about 2,5-3hrs to the top, 2hrs to climb and walk down again. The first part is quite easy, but fter some kilometers the fun begins: You mostly climb up the mountain by ropes, roots and stones. When you reach the top you will see why you did this to yourself: amazing view all over the island. The you climb down and walk some distance until you finally can rest your feet in the water of the Seven Wells.

The jungle itself was very clean without any (!) rubbish. Please be so nice and keep...

Read all the advice of the other reviewers and follow them. Be prepared with proper trekking shoes, pants and backpack with 2 litres of water, snacks, sunblock and maybe a change of t-shirt because you would be drenched in sweat. Bring a swimsuit if you want to dip in the pools when you get down. We are a couple in our 40s who could run 8 km twice a week. We took about 2.5 hours up and 1 hour 45 minutes to get down. Be prepared to use all four limbs from where the ropes start and use the ropes always (often in reverse position) when coming down. Park your car at the Ungawa carpark after the Oriental Village and...

Amazing place, but some people leave their garbage begind :-(( You need to be very fit and ready to climb for 2 hours and a half in the jungle. The second part of the hike is very stepped. Very humid and hot, be ready to bring 3 litters of water per person, high boots, long trousers, long sleeves and something to eat. The last part is really scary, I couldn't make it because you are very exposed and there is no rope or trees to grab, just the exposed rocks. If you go with your "love", this will make the relationship stronger or make you regret it the whole way :-) Be ready for...

If love hiking, hike all the way to the peak. If you just wann do some hiking and enjoy the telaga /well, just hike to telaga tujuh. Hiking all the way to the peak can be challenging, bring enough water 1.5L per person. You can purchase some drinks at the entrance. It took me 4 hours 40 minutes to complete the hike up and down. Recommended if you love to hike.
