The Els Club Teluk Datai - Rainforest Course — Local services in Kedah

Could only ever give this 5 stars, the setting for the golf course is absolutely stunning. Truly one of the worlds great courses. Played it several times and it only got better, Shame the golf didn’t. The course winds it’s way through the rain forest and down to the ocean, tons of photo opportunities throughout all 18 holes. Even got to see the hornbills on my last visit, lots of monkeys too so be careful with belongings. The clubhouse (Hornbill Cafe) is positioned looking over both the 9th and 18th greens. Good selection of food and drink at very reasonable prices for a 5 star venue. One thing I was disappointed with was lots of bones in the chicken curry, not ideal for a western pallet. I recently had the pleasure of visiting a health club that was absolutely magnificent. Every aspect of the experience was exceptional. The restaurant offered high-quality, delicious food that was beautifully presented, making every meal a delight. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful, ensuring that we felt welcome and well-cared for throughout our visit.

A special highlight was when the manager approached us and offered a golf buggy tour of the golf course. The best way to visit Langkawi is self-driving, which is very convenient and cheap.

The best place to go in Langkawi is the Els Club, even if you don't play golf.

We went to the club today to see the course and to have lunch. The lunch is very nice, so does the place and the people. We visited the pro shop and found lots of nice cloths where you could hardly find anywhere on earch ( you cannot find those even in KLCC ).

The staffs are very nice and had showed us the whole course through a buggy ride.

The views are breathtaking, you could see the mountain peak covered in rainforest and the islands in the sea.
