It's not the destination but about the journey. Take the overnight train. A little rough but memorable. Visit the caves and camp at Baha's. Definitely back to nature and the best spot on this gunung. The trails along this base are the most interesting and beautiful with a lot of cold refreshing pools to dip in along the way. I loved taking the train down from Kota Bharu to Dabong. I spent a few days enjoying the waterfall and visiting the cave system. Both were relaxing and a great change of pace from the city.
