HotSpot Restaurant — Local services in Labuan Island

Been here for two times. My first visit was okay, even it took a longer time to cook the food. That time, the hotspot just open their premise so it’s in the viral time. The food was okay, but for me it’s a bit pricey and the portion just 50-50. The taste also 50-50 for me.

Yesterday (15/6/2025) I went there for second time. This time at the moment, I was so hungry, so I expected that the service will take the short time. Please read, I really really really really disappointed yesterday. Because they took so long to prepare the food. Almost 1 hour & half. However still, I manage my patience due to good attitude & service from the staff. At the end, I just lose my appetite to enjoy the meal. The meal? Still I think biasa biasa je. 50-50. Small portion & pricey.

Dear hotspot restaurant, please upgrade your cook department, so they can cook faster. That is the key. And make sure the presentation of the food is attractive & marvellous.

Food. Chicken Chop 5/10. The fries is good. You can taste the freshness of the fries. Blend well with chili sauce and mayonnaise. The coleslaw also good and no complain regarding to it. The only problem here is the chicken. Really dry inside. Totally lost it's juiciness. Maybe because it's overcooked ?

Ayam Penyet 4/10. The timun is fresh. Sambal is not bad. The thing missing here is some ulam and tempe. Isn't Ayam Penyet should this as their main dish ? Again, the ayam here taste dry. I think you guys should pay attention to the ayam. The juiciness is not there.

Service & Atmosphere. 10/10. I have no problem regarding their service. Sangat laju ambil order and makanan would be prepared in a timely manner. You can go see the sunset sementara tunggu makanan being prepared. So windy and really good place to...
