Gunung Besar Hantu — Local services in Negeri Sembilan

This is amazing place for hiking. The highest mountain in Negeri Sembilan. I can say this is moderate trekking and it takes me around 13 hours in total to complete.

The view at the peak is just okay, nothing special. But the scenery during the hike itself was incredible. There’s mossy views also give the vibe kinda mount irau.

From the trail head, you need to walk to the Y junction and continue to sungai kering (around 5km) and we stop there to perform subuh pray and rest for a while. Then continue to next cp which is kem orked. Then straight up to the peak.

Please make sure to bring enough water and rations as this is gonna be a long day. The difficulty not that hard as Nuang, but it give me same feeling maybe because of the distance is almost the same.

In general I really enjoy my time here. It’s not that hard and doable for those who trained physically and mentally. Beginner level is not...

Track pendakian yang boleh dikatakan moderate to hard level. Jarak perjalanan dalam estimated 9.6km +/- sehala. Masa yang diambil untuk sampai ke Puncak Gunung Besar Hantu adalah dalam anggaran 4 hingga 6 jam bergantung kepada pace and stamina masing2.

Laluan perjalanan dari starting point via Taman Negeri Ulu Kenaboi sehingga ke Puncak Gunung Besar Hantu adalah clear. Permulaan, starting point ➡️ CP1: Sungai Kering adalah track berbatu, sedikit tarmac and bila semakin hampir ke CP1 akan melayan track tanah merah (landai tpi panjang dalam 4.6 km +/-).

Seterusnya, dari CP1: Sungai Kering to CP2: Kem Orkid, tracknya dah start masuk track denai hutan and ada certain kene crossing anak sungai kecil and sedikit memacak tapi still boleh go lagi sehingga ke CP2. Perjalanannya akan mengambil masa dalam kira2 45 minit to 1 jam bergantung kepada pace and stamina masing2.

Namun begitu, ia mula start memacak xde discount and memacak lutut bertemu dagu adalah from CP2: Kem Orkid to Simpang Y (Gunung Besar Hantu- Gunung Kecil Hantu). Sebelum nak masuk ke track Gunung Besar Hantu, sila ambil laluan sebelah kanan from Simpang Y.

Last but not least, dari Simpang Y ➡️ Puncak Gunung Besar Hantu, track dia dalam berbentuk laluan akar pokok bermossy yang agak memukau and mempesonakan tpi still landai and ada part laluan naik turun. Perjalanannya akan mengambil masa dalam kira2 30 to 45 minit bergantung kepada pace and stamina masing2.

Gunung Besar Hantu (GBH) adalah merupakan gunung tertinggi di Negeri Sembilan iaitu berketinggian 1462 mtr dari aras laut. Tambahan pula, gunung ini juga terletak betul2 di sempadan antara dua negeri iaitu Negeri Sembilan (daerah Jelebu) dan Pahang (daerah Bentong).
