First visit was 2017 and had nightmare after that, as there are many leeches and steep trail all the way up to the peak. Revisit after 5 years recently on 2022, something has changed. They are building public toilet and fixing the bridge near the trailhead, large area of landslide and bring the benefits to see the kl city view. You can also see the semenyih dam and township at the other side and not many leeches today. The peak still foggy and cold as last time, don't forget to put on your wind jacket. Read moreGunung hitam via kampung ulu Lui. We have to park our car at this warung ikan bakar Sri nikat, then walk about 3km to reach the trailhead which is surrounding by a bamboo forest. Is was a moderate type of trail about 5km from the bamboo forest to peak and not advisable for beginner hikers. There is lot of mosquito attacking us from the whole journey of trail even until to the peak. There is no view from the peak as it was surrounded by lots of tree. The only enjoy part from the whole hiking journey was, the uncle of the warung willing to borrow their bathroom for us to wash up, so that we could enjoy the ikan bakar dishes...

Do take a slow drive after as the entrance is on your left to Kampung Orang Asli Paya Lebar. No parking available, so do park your car properly beside the road.
