Recently, I had the pleasure of spending a day at Kota Serimas Golf and Country Club (KSGCC), and the experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by friendly and professional staff who were eager to assist with anything I needed. The clubhouse itself was beautifully maintained, offering all the amenities you'd expect from a top-tier golf club, including a pro shop, locker rooms, and a welcoming lounge area with great views of the course.

As for the course, it was in pristine condition. The fairways were well-manicured, and the greens rolled smoothly and true. Each hole presented its own unique challenge, with a balanced mix of long, straight fairways and tighter, more technical holes that required precise shot placement. The layout flowed nicely, offering a range of difficulties that kept the round engaging and enjoyable. I especially appreciated the course's natural beauty; mature trees, water features, and subtle elevation changes added to the scenic backdrop.

In terms of pace of play, I found it to be ideal. Despite being a busy day, the marshals kept things moving, and I never felt rushed or held up. It was clear that the club prioritizes an enjoyable experience for all players.

After the round, I had the opportunity to relax at the clubhouse restaurant, where the food was excellent. A range of dishes was available, from hearty post-round meals to lighter fare, all served with great attention to detail and accompanied by prompt service.

Overall, I was extremely impressed with the entire experience. KSGCC is the perfect blend of challenge, beauty, and hospitality. I would highly recommend it to golfers of all skill levels looking for a memorable day...

Kota Seriemas is a young course just about over a year old. But conditions of the course would make you think it is much older. The clubhouse building gives a good first impression. The twin colonial-style mini towers project an imposing sight as you drive up. The positive vibes continue in the changing rooms fitted out with sturdy doors and solid wood furniture. The impression ends as you play the first few holes and you find yourself making excuses for some shortcomings in the course conditions. Like fairway grass that grow meagre and sparse. Green surfaces that are thick and thin, on the same green. When you hit the back nine, denial gives way to acceptance. You begin to wonder how such a new course could have muddy and waterlogged patches from yesterday's rain. But you learn to cope, especially with the inconsistent green speed. The 18 holes appear to be carved out of an oil palm estate with mature palm oil trees dotted all over. The hill slopes that surround part of the course are barren from the felling of trees. This causes silting of the lakes and streams leaving them in an unappealing brown colour. Challenges come in the form of some holes that are uphill all the way with the green right at the apex. Weak approach chips that land short will see your ball rolling down towards you. Such a shame that Kota Seriemas is afflicted with progeria, the rare genetic disorder that causes a child to age...

Its one of a kind golf course that gives you grand welcoming vibes upon entering from the entrance gate to the club house.

The golf course layout designed is such a way that it can accommodate all variety skill levels of golfers from beginners to professional touring pros. You have the vast friendly course layout of First Nine and unique terranneous Second Nine. The green is superb but don't get easy on them because its tricky to read.

Caddies here are all our local malaysian which are in-house trained with a proper training program. This is part of the Kota Seriemas Golf Club management's initiative to up-skill the locals and boost local economy. All caddies look well organized with proper uniform attire. Some of them are good at golf too!

Golf facilities are satisfyingly well equipped. The air pressure at shoes cleaning area is very high! (my essential checklist hahahaha). The food served also sedap. the roti canai is must try. variety of lunch menu from the signature Negeri Sembilan salai dish to goreng2. Changing also quite comfy and refreshing.
