I just came back from this campsite and wanted to share my honest opinion. This is 100% my personal experience, and I hope it helps if you're thinking of going there.
First, the weather was extremely hot—not the campsite's fault—but the tent only had two small fans with weak airflow. It felt like stepping into a sauna, which was really uncomfortable.
The tent’s condition wasn’t great either. There were visible mold stains inside, and the beds were just a few basic single beds that didn’t feel very clean. Luckily, we always travel with disposable bed sheets.
The facilities were poorly maintained. The bicycles didn’t ride smoothly, and there were old rackets and kids’ toy bows just tossed into a rusty bucket. There were ATVs on-site, but they required extra payment. I didn’t see anyone riding them, and honestly, there didn’t seem to be any open space to use them properly.
The small river was supposed to be the main attraction, but I found it just okay. The riverbed was full of large sharp stones—not soft sand—so walking was uncomfortable. There was also a stone slide, but with hard rocks on both sides, it looked a bit dangerous to me. Still, many kids were having fun, so maybe I was just being cautious.
As for food, the campsite offered free snacks, but they were all cheap and unhealthy—instant noodles and processed junk food. The same applied to dinner and breakfast. BBQ is fine for camping, but the ingredients were low-quality: bony chicken wings, old-looking vegetables, and lots of processed food like sausages and fish balls. We don’t usually eat those, so we returned most of it to avoid waste. Breakfast was just mee siam or nasi lemak with a packet of super oily sambal—just spicy, with no real taste. I’d honestly give their food a negative rating.
To be fair, the owner did provide small rechargeable fans at dinner, which helped. But the next morning, when I was enjoying a cool, peaceful coffee, staff came to collect all the batteries to recharge. I assumed they’d return with fresh ones—but they never did. As the sun rose and the heat returned, we were left sweating without fans. I understand needing to recharge for the next group, but we were still there. Maybe they could buy a few extra batteries to rotate, instead of just barely enough.
That’s my honest experience at this campsite. No hate, just my discomfort. Overall, I don’t think it was worth the price. That said, not everything was bad—the cool weather at night was nice, and waking up to morning mist was beautiful. I really hope the place improves with better care, but I personally won’t...
Read moreIt’s a good place for family & friends gathering, beautiful setup of the campsite with relaxing scenery.
However, there are a several strong recommendations which I think the founder must really reconsider:
To improve customer services experience by refreshing the guest welcoming & briefing session. Remember, most guests are visiting for the first time, hence a directed & more friendly approach are expected.
To fix the common area facilities: unbalance snooker table alignment (no point asking for deposit when the equipment is not in a good condition); broken bicycles (cannot ride at all); broken archery sets.
Timing to stop the music at night (near tent)/ to start in the morning (at at common dining area) must be well-regulated. Operator may refresh with the main purpose of why people coming for glamping experience.
Urge for river beds clean up. Crystal clear water, but first stage has piled up with layer of sharp/uncomfortable stones/sand.
Need of change for breakfast supplier. Honesty, it is a… bad start for the day. More varieties of beverages can be provided at the self-serving kiosk.
Fortunately, there are a few good things that ease the mood: Well-taken care little animals Well-grown fruits in the farm Well-setup of tents & tools Strategic location BBQ & campfire session are good. Instead of following same exact routine for years, perhaps a more variety/balance ingredients would be practice (eg: the local produce, sweet potatoes can replace some frozen foods)
The 5 vs 5 points neutral up the rating. The down points are repetitively seen in other reviews; however ALL are fixable to restore the name. Decision is up to...
Read moreGreat service by the manager there. But the map is a bit misleading about the fruit trees and durian trees when there's only a few of each species. Another dreadful thing at night is the bugs flying around your dining area when the lamps are on. the bugs will land in your cups and soup. It was very uncomfortable experience with the bugs flying around when you're trying to relax. This can be a deal breaker for this glamping experience.
Another dealbreaker is the floorboard on our dining area platform. Our friend stepped on a plank and it broke in half, there's a few other spots also broke during our stay. I don't feel safe waking on the platform.
Shower, food, and utilities are...
