Pulau Chekas Riverpools — Local services in Pahang

First time visit on 22/06/2025@Sunday.

As usual during the weekend a lot of visitors come & station along the river bench.

Most of them are coming for a family picnic.

Overall this place is nice and feels close to the nature.

The facilities such as toilets, surau, walkway, gazebo, bridges are well maintained and clean from rubbish.

To enter there is a charge RM3.00 per-person and parking fee RM2.00 per-vehicle.

From town of Raub is about 30km (30 to 40 minutes on driving). The route can considered a kampung route with green all the way.

Strongly suggest to use google map as a route reference.

Something that needs to be improved is the additional direction...

Initially planned for Lata Jarum but it’s closed so we went to Pulau Chekas. Great place to explore nature, and kids love the slides too! Prayer room, changing room, toilet, gazebos are provided here.

Bring something to make the mosquitoes go away. Make sure to rent tube for your kids. The park charges RM2 per...

its a hidden gem..

discover this area by accident while ww avoiding traffic jam from the main road...truely a nice pit stop after 5 hours in the car..

cold water and nice scenery.. public toilets are available.. they are fees of RM2 to be paid..worth the money
