Poor customer service and food portion does not match with price given. This is an honest review after my 5 days meal package.was going to order 30 days package initially but am so glad now i didnt.

1.Customer service If you look at their website they mentioned that they are ready to answer all of your questions 24/7. But when i encounter problem during placing order, after placing order,got problem after receiving order,the response was never promptly.you need to wait hours to only get one response and hours to get another one. Through out our communication,we have mentioned 3 times that i need different meal to be prepared since i ordered lunch and dinner together.triple confirmed and guess what,i received same meal for the day.after my response,they offer to send meal with same vege,same carb only change the protein. i do not mind if they communicate this to me earlier before placing order,but they are the one who offered me two different meals,overpromised and end up ask customer to put up with what they have.After requested for a refund,only they offered to send two different meals.

2.Meal size First of all,their ad is really misleading.what you saw from their ad vs what you received,is totally two different things. You see Instagramable meal, reasonable portion on their ads. Look at my picture,the meat is only as big or a little bit bigger than one spoonful.regardless your gender,your height your weight,your activities,they just send one size for all meal to you. Look at their instagram,they promote 211 meal which is 2vege 1 protein 1 carb.what i received, is totally different.the portion is really small that if you are a grown man,even less active，you still wouldn't meet your daily tdee with the size of their meal. You will still lose weight eventually, because the meal you consume if so much lesser than what you usually consume. Given the same price,you can order subway and you get more vege,more protein and still lose weight with it.

taste To be honest,some were ok,some were really salty,this is up to personal preference of course.but the brown rice is always hard and dry,i think their kitchen dont know how to cook brown rice properly.they send their meal as early as 10am++ in the morning but the meal is cold already.so if you want to keep it as dinner,be ready to eat spoiled one.one of my dinner was spoiled and i eat my dinner usually around 5 to 6pm. Yeah maybe i should keep it in the fridge whatsoever but if those send directly to office and keep as dinner one,good luck to you.they mentioned freshly cooked meals served daily but one of the meal even look like meals on flight dry and cold.

hygiene Vegetables were never wash properly so you get extra protein in your meal,yes i saw worm in my meal.responded to CS and guess what,dont bother to reply at all already.for customer service,i would rate 0 star if i could.think different people handle the whatsapp account because sometimes matters were repeated and you get repeated conversation.

Maybe they are doing good in Klang or what,but for Penang area,look at my picture of actual meals ,look at my conversation with CS and think again before you want to place order.

I have ordered several healthy meal from other restaurant and this is by far the worst i have...

I have chosen diabetes 5 day's meal order#10641 and i mentioned that no carbohydrates such as rice, noodles, pasta, potatoes but is ok to have pumpkin due to i am in special needs to remove carbo diet due to some reasons in this menu. Order details have been captured in the Homey system and the screenshot shared back to me for confirmation.

Day 1 meal delivered with brown rice, thin slices of tumeric chicken, and salad vege. I called and feedback is wrong ingredients as i cant take carbo and rice. After messaging and call, i have to ask for compensation to replace one meal in upcoming day.

2nd day, food arrived but it does not match the values paid for and the portion is small. Restaurant said because i dont want rice or carbo, they have already added vege but the vege they have added in the box is cucumber and it is not much.

The restaurant owner xould have added more varities of vege and portion with the amount paid for which is rm89. 50 for 5 day's meal. If divided by 5, each day is about rm 17.90. If i measure delivery fees within rm 5, the price box of each meal is around rm 12.90. My location is very strategic and near to the penang Bridge. Based on my experiences in ordering food through grab or through other food seller and delivery providers, the delivery fees should be max at rm 5 only. I am common food delivery request customer.

The Homey ignore my message after i have asked for refund. I have showed the food to my friends and all feedback that it is really not valuable for te pricing sold.

I Am regret that i didnt review through the google review before i placed my order. Lessons learnt, dont placed order when you 1st wake up in the morning and saw the advertisement.

I am truly disappointed. Where is the customisation? Also, wrong food ingredients delivery is a No in the industry. They have advertised they customised for cancer patients, dialysis patients, operations patients, diabetes patients and other groups of customers, but the mistake they have done could lead to disaster chronic issue become acute to patients.

Additional Review after written google review and feedback to HOMEY: Homey has changed and improved their remaining balance meals sent to me and has replaced the carbo ingredients with loads of vege which are equivalence of the energies and calories of a carbo ingredients.

I thank for their improvements and hope that they will take note on all upcoming orders from the public to work out the changes and not just temporary compensations on my meal ordered. A caring card and notes received for the negative purchasing experience and i look forward on...

I'm currently subscribed to their monthly food plan for weight loss. Finally, I was able to find a good homemade food delivery. Their foods are amazing and all calorie details are given as well. Fast delivery every day. I feel healthier although it's a little price I would recommend it. Rm20 per meal every day including delivery. Main important point is that it's healthy, homemade, balanced, and Nutritional food. Good portion. Glad I found your website and subscribed to your food package.
