This Island is a stunning tropical paradise that exceeded all of my expectations. Located in Sabah, Malaysia, this small island is the perfect destination for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in natural beauty.

The island is surrounded by crystal-clear waters, and the marine life is abundant and diverse. Snorkeling and diving are the main activities on the island, and they do not disappoint. The coral reefs are in excellent condition, and you can see a variety of fish, sea turtles, and even reef sharks.

The accommodations on Pom Pom Island are luxurious, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. I stayed in one of the water villas, which was spacious, comfortable, and had a stunning view of the ocean. The food at the resort is also outstanding, with a mix of local and international dishes that are prepared with fresh and high-quality ingredients.

One of the standout features of Pom Pom Island is its commitment to sustainability and conservation. The resort has implemented various eco-friendly practices, such as using solar power, composting, and implementing a no-single-use-plastic policy. They also have a turtle conservation program, which aims to protect and preserve the endangered sea turtles that nest...

One word : DIRTY This is the island of hypocrisy The front shore is cleaned in the morning and all the garbage is gathered 5 meters behind!!! So the tourists can take spotless pictures and hide the horrific reality. SHAME ON YOU Put rubbish bins, clean your garbage and fine the ones who litter! You are cutting the branch you are sitting on! Your daily bread comes from the colourful corals and the splendid fauna. What will you do when they all die out? Take care of it while there is still time.

Also, you can only walk on a tiny part of the island if you are not part of the resort, disgustingly elitist and should not be legal, nature belongs to everyone.

Ps: enjoy our...

Please educate yourself and take your rubbish back with you ! In few years I believe those islands are going to disappear! Beautiful Island but unfortunately locals don’t take care of it . Rubbish, plastics, thrown on the beach . You pay 25Rym to enter in this island and you ask yourself where is going the money!? This is going to kill the corals and animals who need it . In few years probably you could not come here for snorkeling anymore if tourist and locals don’t change their behaviour and education. So shame to destroy this beautiful island that Malaysian have the chance to got. Take care of...

Being one of Semporna’s many dive havens, scuba diving aficionados can also spend the day underwater fawning over the vivid marine lives. Equipped with rustic-chic resort accommodation, visitors can chill in the air conditioned room after a long day at the beach or book a massage session for the ultimate island decompression experience. The dreamy atmosphere of the resort is also made for couples desiring a grand beach wedding, and honeymooners looking for a romantic destination to celebrate their love.
