It's a very quaint place, maintained and operated by a family that owns the land.
The owner is a very hands-on kind of guy. He took my cousin & my brother to snorkel. Snorkelling sites are marked. You could also rent a kayak or go for a ride on a banana boat.
We had a really good time enjoying the beach. The place is relatively untouched and the locals are friendly.
Cabins are available for overnight stays. Mind that the cabins are very basic and they dont have ensuites. Outhouses are right outside.
For those who opted to swim, you could clean up afterwards at a saltwater well. There are also basic changing rooms/shower.
There are berbecue pits & volleyball nets. One in front of the restaurant & one at the far end of the beach. Talk to the owner if you want to buy the day's catch from the fishermen for barbecue. Or you could phone him in advance and make the arrangement.
I only know of one homestay at the beach that has ensuite bathrooms. The others...
