Bukit Aup — Local services in Sarawak

Highly recommended for anyone who love nature, brisk walking and hill climb at the same time. Beautiful landscapes especially from top of the hill. Suitable for both adults and kids as there also provide basic playground for kids. This place also provide basic gym for visitors. Can buy fish food for fish feeding. Got food stall in the park (drinks a bit pricey) and also restaurant in front of the park. In another perspective, this place needs further maintenance especially the fish pond, its fishy smells from the pond cause uncomfortable when we walk around the food stall. It's wooden stairs and hanging bridge also need to be renovate for visitors safety. There are also some activities causing unpleasant smell and views, rubbish everywhere at the top of the hill due to irresponsible visitors even thought rubbish bin provided. This place is a hidden gem for Sibu and hopefully the concern government will be able to maintain this park for tourists attractions purposes...

Edit late 2024. I went back here because it's probably the last time I ever go to Sibu. Some areas have received maintenance..good 👍👍. New roof on the pavilion. Good. New hand rails. Metal. Good Suspension bridge still not open. But. Oh well. Everywhere else is OK. It's ok place now.. Green water ??... Ummm...

The place is unmaintained. Some wooden areas are fallen apart. You cannot cross the suspension bridge. Roof caving in on some pavilions. Steps are slippery. Ignore the old photos from 2 years ago. The place is...

The place okay... But, until we walk to the top of the hill... Don't like the traditional ritual or 'miring' in that beauty park... Very disappointing... It's very dirty and smelly... The blood, the flies are all over the place... 'Keep Our Park Clean'... The owner also...
