The waterfalls is 1:15 hours away from Kuala Lumpur

The place is appropriate for family And Once you arrive there you need to find a parking and maybe you will have to park your car away from the entrance because the parking area is always busy and you are lucky if you find a parking nearby the gate

Until you reach the main area where the people swimming cooking doing BBQ , you need to enter from the outside entrance and walk almost 7 minutes until you reach there

The place there is amazing refreshing and breathtaking and the water is so cold and very good for swimming. You can feed the fish (fishing is not allowed)

If you want to reach to the mean waterfall, you need to hike for almost 45 minutes and the place up there is very good for guys and friends (you are not allowed to bring food up there)

Notes: 1- there is no phone service or Internet connection 2- the bathrooms are not in a good condition 3- the closest petrol station for you away from the waterfall 12 km 4- the place is safe and I haven’t seen any monkeys even mosquitoes 5- unfortunately the place doesn’t have any shed or hut 🛖 or whatever you call it 😅 6- I recommend you to bring your meals redy instead of doing BBQ , unless if you are making a small portion because you can have a chance to sit in the river and enjoy your meal 😋

7- And please KEEP the place clean after before you leave

You'll need to walk/hike for around 1 hour to reach the waterfall, so 2 hrs return. There're 6 crossings, in which 5 you'll need to get wet as you cross the river. But worry not, it's quite safe as they put solid ropes to support. Some are shallows with light current, others are up to waist deep (for H 162cm), so definitely prepare extra clothes to change after.

From the road, there're ample parking spots available, but still it's very competitive. So better come early in the morning. Otherwise, park on the roadside. You need to walk around 10 minutes from the gate to the registration post whereby you'll need to register. U can buy fish food here for RM5. A small room is available to store your stuffs, but this is a public & open racks, so make sure no valuables left there. Many families set their tents here.

Toilets are available and 1 shower, relatively clean (at least in the morning), but so hard to find trash bin. I hope...

Where the hike in sounds like a spa day but ends like a survival episode. Crystal clear waters, jungle soundtrack, and the occasional leech cameo. Don’t let the serene name fool you..it’s called Chilling because Chilling Accidental Drowning Site didn’t test well with tourists.

Stats for the dark side: over the years, at least 6 fatalities reported, mostly due to sudden river surges. Yes, the water’s cold, but the real chill is when the current decides to turn pro.

Pro tip ‼️ : if it rained anywhere in Selangor yesterday- DON’T.
