Prodivers Maldives — Local services in Faadhippolhu

I had the pleasure of diving with the incredible instructors at Prodivers on Kuredu Island, including Christoffer, Eugene, Anton, Tina, Thasleem, and Marc. They were exceptionally professional, friendly, and skilled. They guided us through several dive sites while sharing valuable tips and tricks in an approachable and engaging manner.

A special mention goes to Bertrand, who took my son on his first "try dive." He communicated clearly in English, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. His patience and teaching style were truly remarkable.

During my time with Prodivers, I also completed both the Nitrox certification and the Underwater Scooter certification. The process was seamless, professional, and a great addition to my diving experience.

The entire Prodivers team at the dive center was equally welcoming and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. The boat crew also stood out for their kindness and attentiveness, making every dive a memorable adventure.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Prodivers on Kuredu Island to anyone who dives or wants to explore the amazing underwater world for the first time.

The divecenter, equipment, boat and reservation system is top notch but asking a certified technical diver with last recorded dive 1 week ago to prove himself on a housereef dive is utter nonsense and looking at the price a ripoff.

My blood really started boiling when Juergen told me that my certifications and dive log are worth nothing and i have to show that i can clear my mask. I am used to very direct communication and know Austrian/Germans do so aswell but this crossed a border to being rude and arrogant.

After "proving" myself on the dive i was openly welcomed to sign up for any of their dives, within their limitations ofcourse. But after this experience i didn't really feel like doing more dives...

Customer is not king here, you either go with their "flow" or don't dive at all during your stay. I have never been treated so bad in the diving world, normally i would've walked away but they are the only option on the island. If you want diving without hassle i strongly advise visiting another...

Been to many, many dives shops and live aboards all over the world for 30 years. This one is THE best, most professionally managed, best guides and instructors, most fun things to try and/or do spcialities, most friendly, multy language staff... I could go on and on and on. Our group did a total of 22 courses and intros, from our 10 year old daughter getting certified as PADI OW Junior to rebreather. Plus lots of regular dives of all kinds. All perfect, fun and friendly. Most fun was the scooter. VERY safety oriented with their own Recompression Chamber, which I imagine gathers dust :-) Prodive Kuredus should have six stars!

As for the dives, world class when it comes to fish (big ones and small ones in big schools), really great adventure dives. Coralls, not the best but okay(+) in many places.

Nitrox highly recommended. But you can easily get certified on the Island. Don't miss the DPV (scooter) dives in...
