Peacock Alley — Local services in Malé Atoll

Updated In retrospect I feel like I was too harsh in my original post. Although the hotel is very new and going through the expected growing pains, the staff has been exemplary and has been able to correct every single issue and beyond. Our concierge, Nani (and Hassan), went above and beyond to make sure that we were very happy with our stay. The team who took care of our room (Farooq, Aslam, and Rameez) were extremely attentive and ensured it was clean and orderly. Riza and Rashid kept our glasses full (seemingly no matter where we were!) Anees took time from his busy schedule to show us around the resort. We were lucky enough to have met Mr Mowfaq, the civil engineer responsible for building this amazing resort.

Last and definitely not least was the restaurant team: Chef Hidayat was constantly at our table to make sure that the food was perfect (it was) and we enjoyed his conversations. Every morning Dante doted on us and participated in discussions about everything from food to solutions to world peace! We looked forward to his bright smile and wonderful attitude every morning!

Everyone touched us in some way and we will always remember our stay because of the people we met.

We just got to airport and if I could add a star I would. The boat ride and door to door service was amazing!
