Not.sure how to.start this,.but we have been to Constance Moofushi before in November 2019. It was fabulous then and we are glad to say it still is. It's hard to point to one thing that makes this all inclusive resort not just ordinary but great. It's a great combination of staff culture (efficient, helpful and friendly but not to the point you notice), food a drink (amazing food, a separate restaurant for this special nights, sommeliers to help you choose from the free wine collection), facilities and maintenance of those, the people of all.nationalities that come here (friendly, polite, willing to engage in conversation if you want to) of course the climate, even if it does rain a little and lastly the house reef which is teaming with varieties of fish, reef sharks, turtles and ray. We have shared some of these pics from the reef below. If you want to venture further then you have a dive centre run by blue tribe that go from sunset and dolphin watching trips on a boat to snorkelling, whale shark viewing and diving.
MOOFUSHI HAS IT ALL!!!
In case you get bored there are watersports as well.
So when we were there this time the resort was running at 95% occupancy. I can't remember how many people that is, but you would think that would make the resort busy. Amazingly you just do not notice. Another amazing fact is that 50% of those people have been to Moofushi before (is included). We met a lot of these at special event the hotel laid on for us so we know it's not the hotel making up the numbers.
The Maldives are expensive and Moofushi is no exception. To us though it is an exceptional place which we will never tire of and if we can afford it will continue to come back. Other holidays of course but if it's the Maldives then for.ua it will be Constance Moofushi every time.
I will edit more but...
Read moreOur second visit to this most idyllic island. A pure little piece of paradise.
What you can expect from this little jewel is first class friendly service from the entire team, excellent food, fantastic scenery and peace and quiet. The island holds circa 200 guests, however due to the layout of the island you never feel on top of one another, neither do you have to queue or wait for anything. This island is rustic, and is perfect for relaxation and watching time pass you by. The house reef is excellent, with additional snorkelling options off the main and the pool beaches. Yes there is a strong current, but this is usual in the Indian Ocean. Please don’t let this put you off.
This island is truly all inclusive too. There is no silly bands to be worn, and all guests have access to the same drinks and wine selections. Yes you can go off piste, and if your palate needs that something extra special then this can be catered for, at an extra cost. That said, you will be hard pushed to not find a suitable wine, beer or spirit of excellent quality included. All top brands of spirits, wines from old and new worldS and good quality beers are all here included. It really is all inclusive - no catches here.
If you are looking for a party feel, constant entertainment, motor powered water sports, drinks to be served at your beach bed or poolside or countless restaurant choices - then this resort is not for you.
Constance Moofushi balances five star service, rustic feel with staff not being overbearing.
This island has a bit of a groupie following, with guests called repeaters. There is one couple who visit 6 times every year and have done so for many many years. It is easy to see why.
We will certainly be back for our third/ fourth and fifth visit - and I would recommend this location in...
Read moreBe aware of bed bugs ("punaises de lit", "cimici dei letti" or "клопов" for other readers here). Great resort in many ways, deserving of a 4 star rating relative to other resorts we have been to in the Maldives : excellent food, decent sized beach and lagoon, friendly staff, nice wine list, all inclusive. However I caught bed bugs in villa 111. Hotel management proved to be unhelpful, uncommercial, displayed bad faith (despite a doctor's opinion) and did not warn the next couple staying in room 111 ... Ultimately a bit annoying to pay $1,500 a night and have throw away your luggage when you get home, wash all your clothes at 60 Celsius or put your shoes in the freezer for week. Stay at Moofushi at...
