Gemanafushi — Local services in North Huvadhu Atoll

Very beautiful island in the Gaafu Alifu Atoll of Maldives. It includes a spacious and fantastic harbour which is capable of docking at least 12 to 18 dhoni (big fishing boat) and many small launches. Weekly, some goods boats are arriving here to serve the needs of the islanders. In addition to that, the island has two beautiful beaches in two opposite directions and it is very peaceful. For improving education of the children, they have got a great school which highly updated based on the upcoming changes in the information technology and it is headed by one of most efficient and hardworking staff mr. Aslam Hussain. The other staffs are doing their best level of performance to increase the standard of school. Moreover, island is having 4 mosques spread across the island. There is a police station and court to satisfy the needs of people. The excellent service of the members of the gemanafushi council make daily plans to ensure the betterment of this island.
