We took a day tour by boat to Meedhoo Island, and it was a truly memorable experience. Surrounded by the beauty of the sea, we got to explore the island’s peaceful countryside and witness the local way of life.
We visited small grocery shops, saw how the locals live, and the highlight was watching traditional wooden boat and ship building. The craftsmen explained the process very clearly, which made it both educational and fascinating.
There is also only one school on the island, where children learn English using laptops—a great example of education in a simple yet effective setting.

You can walk from one end to another for 5 minutes, but there is still something nice to discover. Definitely recommending to visit and see the real Maldivian live.
