This has one of THE most beautiful roads into the park. The best spot to do an easy 5km walk/run from the entrance gate next to Matala and back again. The best time to walk/run is very early (6am), at opening time to avoid cars and buses on the road. Just magical!!

Beste Wanderungen in Mauritius und kostenlos, Vollkommen unklar warum das hier 35 Bewertungen hat und die Wasserfälle mit der siebenfarbigen Erde knapp 10.000... vermutlich können viele 5-Sterneurlauber nicht laufen :) Es ist ein sehr schönes Wandergebiet zwischen ich denke u.a. Eukalyptusbäumen um einen Fluss herum mit vielen verschiedenen Touren. Die Wege sind gut beschrieben, es gibt einfache Touren (wir hatten zwei kleine Kinder von 2 und 4 Jahren dabei) und auch anspruchsvollere Touren. Der Fluss wird häufig auf Steinbrücken überquert, wir haben auch Affen gesehen und in den Bäumen sind oft Termitennester. Man ist mitten im Wald, bei uns war es auch nicht überlaufen. Toiletten und alle Wanderwege am Anfang, Eintritt kostenlos
