Imagine my surprise when I drove by this place which I had visited 15+ years back. As you will see in the pics, this place specializes in miniature and ornamental ships, boats, yachts etc and also has miscellaneous other art and craft items including a very nice makeup box for ladies. The owner spoke very kindly and gave as a generous discount as be bought 2 items. Not sure if I will have the chance to visit this nice little place again but if you're in Mauritius near grand basin, this is a must visit. Ring the bell to be let in ... 😬 Enjoy the pics!

Si jamais la porte est fermée à clef, sonnez! Très joli magasin de maquettes de bateaux avec accueil très gentil, visite de l'atelier, explications sur la fabrication des maquettes et des reproductions de navires tous plus célèbres les uns que les autres. Un travail d'orfèvre... si vous succombez au charme d'une de ces maquettes, le magasin a tout prévu pour l'emballage de manière sécurisée pour la rapporter en avion.

Pretty little shop selling hand made ship models. We were lucky to be invited to see the workshop behind the shop to see see the models being made. A family run shop and the service was excellent. I bought a ship for my...

Super magasin !!! Nous avons été reçu par Célestin et son fils qui ont été d’une gentillesse incroyable.

Établissement qui crée des maquettes de bateaux de manière familiale et traditionnelle avec une histoire touchante. Les maquettes sont d’une qualité incroyable avec énormément de choix.

Je recommande vraiment de venir dans ce magasin, nous avons passé un super moment à comprendre comment tout cela été fait.
