MexGeo — Local services in Ensenada

We visited Ensenada, Mexico from San Diego through MexGeo Tours (Tour Guide: Lizette) as an Impromptu trip this summer. The trip was very well planned and tailored to each one of us in our family group of 10 from kids to elders. Lizette made the whole trip very seamless and accommodated our changing plans. She recommended all the spots along the way that were not tourist destinations otherwise. The restaurants that she recommended exceeded our expectations in every way (Best seafood by the pier, road side fish tacos, fancier restaurant with ocean views). She was an exceptional guide who made us feel like she was hosting us which made a lot of difference. Of course, she being fluent in Spanish and English was very helpful too. We got to experience the place the way locals would and it did not feel like a tourist rip off. The activities that we got to experience and enjoy are the well recommended: ziplining, driving ATV, horse back riding along the beach, feeding animals at the local zoo and wine tasting at a winery. Lizette is very well connected to get better deals for each of these attractions which may not be accessible to general tourists. Getting to know her during the trip was very nice and I can say that she guided our trip based on her previous experiences. She is continuously looking for ways to make each part of our day better. She went above and beyond to make every part of the trip memorable. Lizette focused on creating a wonderful memory for us as we enjoyed every bit of their tour guidance which was more like hospitality. As our 3 day trip was coming to an end, I wanted to know more of other places that she caters to. I recently had the pleasure of experiencing MexGeo Tours' biking tour of Ensenada, and it was nothing short of amazing. To top off the exceptional experience with MexGeo Tours, I must commend Lizzette for going above and beyond. One member of our group accidentally left their water bottle on their bike, and without hesitation, Lizzette chased us down all the way back to our cruise ship to return it. We were 5 adults and visited Ensenada and the Valle de Guadalupe for four days. Lizette worked with us to create specialized experiences that were authentic, memorable and that we could not have found without her and her team.

Lizette was warm, extremely knowledgeable and was able to hone in on the kinds of experiences that we were looking for. We went mountain biking, we hiked on a beautiful trail which she and her team had developed and she provided us with insider information on restaurants and activities which was invaluable. Her team were also wonderful. Xavier was kind, gracious and encouraging. Inti spoke excellent English and was so helpful and gracious in providing information and tips.

All in all we had a wonderful experience working with Lizette and her team. They were so warm and responsive to our interests and made the whole experience both fun and very informative in terms of culture and natural landscape.
