Traveled from California after a friend recommended this place. Id been feeling very run down and unhealthy for a while. Decided on this place after making the decision to make a drastic life style change. Best desicion of my life. Felt a difference in my body after the first day! I highly recommend looking at their website and reading through their various treatments. This is a holistic facility, focusing on cleansing the body. Therefore, have an open mind. Its 100% worth it. I would say just know traveling there takes a while. Its a 3 hour drive from the nearest airport. However, the facility will recommend a driver who is very helpful and trustworthy. I loved El Grullo DAR. Client Nicole who says she lost her money, stated $1000 and lost no weight is completely off. First of all you cant lose much weight in 1 week and not sure which luxury suite she stayed in. I stayed 21 days paid $1,750 aprox. Stayed in one of their best rooms, Lost 12 pounds, i was too lazy and tired to excercise or else i would have lost more. Please be honest when stating something. This place was awsome. Decided to stay for a week amidst claims that this place helped you lose weight/taught you how to be healthier. All I lost was my money. While the staff was friendly and helpful the overall experience was subpar. Food-wise the diet here reflects that of extreme vegans and the recipes are easily found on the internet. Salads are bathed in olive oil and the fruit (while good) is just that: fruit. If I wanted to eat fruit everyday for breakfast I could easily do it without paying almost $1000 dollars.
