If you are Mexican or Mexican-American then you might enjoy this type of environment (I'm Mexican but don't enjoy that). Where you are literally walking shoulder to shoulder with everybody and you have tons of different smells (good and BAD). I’d you are in Guadalajara on a Sunday, come to this HUGE sunday market that has everything from food to tools, clothes, shoes, antiques and animals. It easily takes you half day if you want to browse all sections but we were able to cover major areas within a couple of hours. It was fun and also a good workout while you can recharge yourself with all kinds of local drinks, snacks and food. Great place to experience local culture. I highly recommend coming to here...
