What a sweet place! This is first and foremost a conservation operation and not a tourist production. You need to call ahead of time to make a reservation. Even outside of the high season for turtle hatching they do have turtles they’re releasing regularly. It seemed they only do their presentation in Spanish, but I think it’d be fun even if you don’t fully understand what they’re saying. We brought our two boys who are 5 and 2 and they were really engrossed. The whole thing took about 30 mins which was perfect for us. The beach is beautiful, the waves are so intense (no swimming!!), it was a...

We had a wonderful experience here. We had attempted to do a turtle release at Bacocho beach but it was slammed and they were taking a long time. Someone else told us about this place. You have to message them in advance and you are supposed to pay by direct deposit to make a reservation. We couldn't get that to work but they agreed to let us bring cash. We ended up releasing 5 turtles each while the other location offered 1 for...

I'd definitely recommend this experience. Sharon was very knowledgeable and passionate about the conservation efforts. Then later actually getting to release your turtle onto the beach and you cheer them on as they fight to get to the water, it's almost like a bonding experience and makes you think more about humans relationship/impact...
