There is a lot to like, but because of the rain we had during most of the week left the course soggy and resulted in mud flying everywhere. The fairways are pretty wide, the greens were soft and slow and caused every chip shot to divot. There was almost no release, including the fairways shots. I'm not sure if I can lay that issue on the course as it was rainy, so keep that in mind if you're going there after a couple of days of rain. The club rentals were old and pretty heavily used. They were a Callaway Epic set where the driver was adjusted with the sliding weight to fade. After the front 9, the driver got loose (physically wiggly) and I wish I had my driver key to tighten it down and adjust the club to draw. Took a star for these clubs as other courses I've played in Riviera Maya offer new or newer clubs (especially considering the price). If you pay $60 USD for the rental they give you 6 golf balls for free. The course was more reasonably priced than the surrounding courses, and they do maintain it as there were maintenance people all around working on the course (also trying to sell you golf balls). Bring your range finder or a course map as the golf carts do not have GPS (mine showed the course as the TPC course as that's what they used to be called) . Overall, this is a nice course with plenty of water hazards, sand traps, gently changing elevations in a jungle setting. The sun wasn't out and neither were any bugs (like zero bugs). I enjoyed myself, greens are relativly on the flat side, saw the cart person 3 times during my round and found 2 bathrooms (1 on the front and 1 on the back 9). Hope this is helpful as it was an enjoyable 4 hour round with the first twilight tee time.

Nice course! A bit pricey for the service, but everyone is very friendly. We really enjoyed the club sandwich, super tasty!

The course was pretty decent considering the weather, heat down here. The reason for 1 star is the rental clubs we used were from like 1990’s and our golf cart was having issues and struggling with driving. We had arranged pick up and drop off with them as well. The pick up went great but the drop off was horrible. We asked if we could pay extra to be dropped off at the mall. He said yes for 50 buck. We looked at Uber and found it would only cost us like 15 bucks. So we decided to just go back to the hotel and get a uber. So we jumped in the Cancún country club travel guy and needed up at the mall and him telling us to get out and demanded money. He was yelling thief so we just paid him to stop any confrontation. Kinda scary when had no clue what was going and not knowing for sure where we were. Was able to get a uber and travel back safely. I would not recommend this...

Made reservations a couple days prior to our visit. Paid for my wife and I to golf for the day, my wife was wearing something more comforting due to pregnancy 6 months in. She did not wear golfing attire. Tried to cancel so that she can go back to the hotel and I can stay behind and play for the day. They wanted to charge her $30 to drop her back off when it was already paid for. The whole time we were there from beginning to end was nothing but attitude, the staff was just rude period. I don't recommend this place. They charged me $162 dollars to cancel. Staff: Mauricio,...
