The place its self is very nice, clear water with fish in the underground pool. You can jump from the top of the cave into the water if you want some adrenaline! Their are hammocks and clean toilets, I also noticed ATV's and horses if those activities float your boat. Speaking of boats there's an inflatable boat and a swing in the pool which anyone can use. There's also a swing. Everyone there was very nice, there are changing rooms and lockers at no extra cost. There's also a zipline seemed very fun but I personally didn't try it. The price I payed was MX$250 per person although to begin with they tried to charge me $20USD for entry (I told them I only had 250 pesos and they allowed me in for that price). To get there we took an ADO bus from Cancun to Puerto Morelos, around MX$80 (I belive we paid this for a return journey but I cant remember 100%), and then an Uber from there to the cenote, which cost us MX$400. For the way back they had a shuttle and charged us MX$150 for 2 people back to Puerto Morelos where we took the Ado bus back home.
Alternatively next door is Cenote Zapote, they have 2 open air and 2 underground cenotes and it costs around $40 USD to get in which we...
Read moreAmazing experience at this tucked away cenote.
We were a little leery of the one lane road, but our little Chevy Aveo made it without any issues. The road is about 1.5 miles, FYI.
Upon arrival, we paid our 300 pesos per person and were given a tour. There are three entrances to the cenote ranging from easy to a 7 m cliff jump.
This was our second cenote in our favorite for the overall experience. The water was crystal clear and refreshing, and not too cold. The platform in the middle is solid and allows you to set your stuff there while you explore the cave. We spent an hour in the water and exploring, then headed up.
Once we were up top, we couldn’t help but notice the amazing smells coming from the small kitchen and cook area that we passed on the way in. We checked on the menu and sat down for lunch.
Four kinds of tacos at about 20 pesos each and a good sized plate of nachos for 100 pesos allowed us to try everything. We had to have seconds of the oven roasted pork but it was all really good!
If you don’t like onions, make sure to ask for the nachos without them. Otherwise enjoy with a cold beer or soda!
We would definitely return to the cenote...
Read moreDuring our first trip to Cancun, my friends and I made our way to Cenote La Noria, and the entire experience was absolutely incredible. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend making a visit—it’s truly a must-see!
The cenote offers a variety of fun activities, all at prices that are well worth it. Out of all the places we visited during our trip, La Noria stood out as one of the highlights. The natural beauty of the cenote is breathtaking, but what really made our visit special was the incredible staff. They were friendly, supportive, and went above and beyond to make our day even more memorable.
As someone who doesn’t know how to swim, I was initially terrified to enter the cenote. However, thanks to the encouragement and assistance from the amazing staff, not only did I step into the water, but I also gathered the courage to jump right in! It was an exhilarating experience that I’ll...
