El Ahuehuete Arbol Milenario — Local services in State of Mexico

Well, it was not what I thought it to be. I mean, it was really huge yes, nice tree and yes a spring coming from the roots, but the feeling was ruined by those locals, who see you as your wallet. I have always disliked how people come and offer their stuff. I understand this is their work and money for the family, but it slightly bothers, as you cannot really feel the atmosphere and be there. That's why it is 4 stars, not 5. Some locals were very friendly and nice and understood no gracias very well....

Tienes 2 formas de ver el ahuehuete, la virgen monumental y chalma: uno es el turístico pues son tres lugares que van de la mano por su cercanía y Malinalco muy turístico, la otra perspectiva es la de la FÉ, está última es la que más llama la atención pues la mayoría de los que van, van llenos de fé no solo en el corazón sino en la mente también y si uno quiere realmente vivirla debe uno involucrarse desde el ahuehuete ya que hay que meterse a las agua que brotan en el mismo ahuehuete, comprarse su como para los que van de primera vez, bailar ahí mismo, y posteriormente subir a la virgen monumental y subirlo es toda una penitencia o reto como quieran verlo, luego llegar al Santuario de Chalma para depositar la corona de flores a la entrada como ofrenda y realizar sus peticiones ante el señor de Chalma, y si eres peregrino al lado se encuentra la casa del peregrino lugar gratuito para descansar después del largo caminar, ah ido como peregrino y visita en auto, como peregrino si tienen la oportunidad es una experiencia única pues es una explosión de fe en todo su esplendor, cantos, rezos juegos risas, cansancio dolor, pero con fé...
