Nevado de Toluca — Local services in State of Mexico

Definitely one of my highlight hikes. We camped at the nearby campground, but plenty of people came up the morning of and were able to get there at a decent time. The trail can be somewhat tough to follow at times if taking the ridge, so recommend downloading a map if you go that route. We took the skree field down which was not very fun, but we weren't sure about huffing it for another few hours...

Un lugar maravilloso! Una súper experiencia! Es realmente fácil de llegar, ya que hay camionetas de los lugareños que te llevan hasta la parte baja del volcán y ya de ahí se debe subir a pie. Si es recomendable llevar ropa abrigadora porque es frío, llevar agua es indispensable y alguno que otro snack con azúcar para un extra de energía. Aunque no es una escalada si es una actividad física, si no estas acostumbrado debes de subir con un guía o en grupo para que te den las facilidades adecuadas. Lleva una cámara porque las vistas son increíbles y querrás recordar todo!! Te recomiendo que recorras todo el lugar, no es mucho tiempo y sí es una experiencia que...
