The buildings were impressive. As an English speaker, there was very very poor signage and descriptions of what everything was.
I think the site would a much cooler experience if the government took the time to give example photos and stories of what the place might have looked like and what every day life was like.
There was really almost no information about anything.
The site is packed with street vendors selling the same stuff. Over a kilometer long of vendors hassling and interrupting your experience.
They are blowing whistles and hollering none stop.
Mind you, this annoyance doesn't even start until you get through the 4 seperate parking traps, the scammers trying to sell you tickets to everything, getting through the government pay tolls and then being bombarded by people trying to give you tours.
The government has tainted this place by abusing the visitors.
5 stars for being a cool place -2 stars for ruining the atmosphere -1 star for having pathetic information about the buildings and sites.

You have to make a reservation in advance to see the site at 9 am and be accompanied by a custodian who allowed us to go inside spaces that were designated no entry. We tipped him for the honor. We were the only people there! There is a bit of a walk to the site....
