OM Yoga Casablanca has a very broad offer of yoga classes: hatha, ashtanga, vinyasa, aerien, yin, barre yoga, bikram and hot. In addition it offers flamenco, Tam Tam and qigong lessons. Some are offered in English and some in French. All the activities are done in very well equipped and clean rooms. Facilities are definitely a plus.Very good for people that want to try different quality yoga styles. I stayed for a week on a retreat and detox diet, mainly based on juices. Ricardo, the juice maker made delicious juices for me. For the whole time I was fairly alone, only one to three people were doing the retreat at a time. So not good if you are looking for a community feeling, but perfect if you want to be by yourself. OM yoga casablanca's focus is more on offering classes for casablanca citizens than on the retreat. I missed some more explanations about the principles of yoga and some more correction during the classes, as some teachers do correct a lot and some others not at all. The school is in the middle of a urban area where there is not much to see if you wanna go for a walk but the shopping is very close which is very handy. The doorm shares toilet with the school students and it is very humble inside, overpriced on my opinion. The 2people room is very welll located, cossier and faces the swimming pool directly. There is always yogui tea available and there are some yoga books to consult. The school is overall very pleasant inside, the owners very friendly, cookers are fairly good and classes are good quality. I got my energy back and my body feels great after...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with Om Yoga and their handling of my wife’s prenatal yoga needs. My wife joined the studio with the hope of receiving specialized guidance to support her during her pregnancy. The studio assured us that their prenatal classes would be safe, beneficial, and tailored to her specific needs.
Initially, we believed in their promise, but the reality was far from satisfactory. The classes were generic and did not provide the personalized attention that was promised. Despite our repeated requests for adjustments and specific guidance, there was little effort to address my wife’s concerns.
When we raised these issues, the studio promised to give us another chance and assured us that they would provide the necessary support. However, after making this promise, they completely stopped responding to our messages and calls. This lack of communication is unprofessional and has caused us significant frustration.
We were expecting a supportive and understanding environment for my wife during this crucial time, but instead, we felt ignored and neglected. I would not recommend Om YOGA to any expectant mothers or their families. This experience has been a major disappointment, and I hope the studio takes these concerns seriously and improves their services for...
Read moreI first visited OM Yoga Casablanca (3 nights), in November 2018 and had such a fantastic time, I made mental plans to revisit even before my stay concluded.
My second visit in September this year, was just as special. The Yoga classes are the true star of this retreat, as they are varied, plentiful and taught by great teachers. I tried Wall Yoga for the first time (twice) and while I wasn't a convert to its principles, I appreciated that I got to try a type of Yoga that was outside my comfort zone.
Imane and Aseem were incredibly accommodating, flexible (especially when I missed a connecting flight and messed up my carefully co-ordinated itinerary), helpful and generous with their time. Aseem took an afternoon out of his schedule to act as an unofficial tour guide to a group of retreaters, which was kind of him and much appreciated.
I had another wonderful stay and look forward to...
