Oued El Kannar — Local services in Caïdat d'Assifane

Do NOT go at this current time (05-2025). The place is a really really beautiful nature place, and last time I was there (around two years ago) it had camping spots with some sort of ease of life facilities (food, a private place as a toilet, battery charging stations…) and other stuff that made camping there accessible and doable. However, in my recent visit, everything was destroyed and is under construction, the place is almost deserted. If you are a foreigner I would highly advise you to not go there alone, and to definitely not camp there. If you do however just want to visit, make sure to do so early in the morning and come back early too. Wed elkanar it's a really amazing place to visit . But In danger of disappearing due to accumulated garbage and mismanagement by officials. There is no standard price for setting up tents or any public facility. There is randomness in the walk. And extortion by people claiming ownership of those lands . I do not recommend visiting the place...
