I can’t imagine experiencing Morocco with any guide but Ahmed. He made our trip an absolute delight. When you’re traveling with tour guide for a week or more, you’re not only relying on them to make the experience go smoothly, you also want to enjoy their company, because you see them a lot. We traveled from Casablanca to Chefchaouen, one of the pretties cities I’ve seen. We toured the old Medina in Fez, and a highlight was riding camels in the Sahara. We had so much fun dancing at the luxury camp with the local Berbers. We saw some nomads along the road and stopped to have tea with them in their tent! Such a memorable experience! We hired Ahmed to take us on 10 day journey through Southern Morocco. He designed a beautiful itinerary for us that included little known villages and breathtaking landscapes. He even arranged an unforgettable birthday surprise for my friend while we were staying overnight in the Sahara Desert. He is very knowledgeable and delivered a deeply authentic experience.

Ahmed is friendly, warm and he has a highly contagious laugh….hence we nicknamed him the Laughing Berber. He’s also an excellent driver and his luxury van had cold AC (much needed in June!)

We were two females traveling together and at no point did we ever feel unsafe.
