The mythical Jbel Musa mountain - known as “La Mujer Muerta” in Spanish and The “Sleeping Lady” in English. A mountain of 851 meters above sea level. The views from the top are spectacularly beautiful. At the summit, you can see the port of Ceuta, Gibraltar and Cadiz Province. A must for the inquisitive hiker.

A beautiful mountain to climb! I started my hike at Tanger-Med and that way can you spent an entire day there. The path to the summit starts in Belyounech and is relatively easy ...until the last 20 mins to the summit. But the views are well worth it!

A beautiful moderate-to-difficult hike starting from Belyounch, which you can get to by grand taxi from Finideq for twelve dirhams. About 3 hours round-trip. The beginning of the trail is quite intuitive in the valley behind town. As you get up to the rocky slopes you'll want to start looking for rocks which have been spray-painted orange and blue to guide you. Gorgeous views all across the Strait...

Just climbed this last Saturday and it was spectacular, going up was not difficult at all, getting to the summit you need to be ok with heights, and have good fitness and upper body strength. Coming down was quite hard for me as I was being very cautious as broke my ankle 10 months previously but so worth it, magnificent views and our guide was fantastic. Do...
