Todra Gorge is a habitual stop between Dades Valley and Merzouga. Before arriving , you will see green palmeraies and Berber villages. Get off and snap some shots.
At the entrance to the gorge, a welcomr cool breeze thits you, is which is a delight as we near the desert.
As you can see from the photos, though my old iPhone doesn't do justice, the 300m-deep fault that separates the ochre-orangey stones into a deep ravine is breathtaking. The water of the river is impressively crystal-clear. If you look up more closely, you will see "ant-like" figures crawling between the crevices .. rock climbers!
What I find unfortunate are graffiti on some lower portions of the stones and the usual...
