Bakkal Farm is an incredibly relaxing oasis from the hubbub of Marrakesh.

Yassine is a wonderful host; nothing was too much trouble for him and his delightful team, in a very understated way, and so you feel completely at home.

The building and pool are aesthetically pleasing and there are many different spaces in which to relax. Our room was large and beautiful. Small design details, like a picture window at the sink in the bathroom so you can look out at the surrounding nature while brushing your teeth, are the little touches that make this place so pleasant and appealing.

The water in the pool was the perfect temperature. Swimming back towards the house was heaven.

The home-cooked meals are simple and delicious with most of the food directly from the farm. And it’s not expensive.

This place is so relaxing and peaceful. It is simple, authentic and run with genuine care for guests and offers a homely experience amidst rural surroundings. If you are looking for a calming alternative to the commotion of the Medina - this place is it.

The staff are so kind and attentive and food is home cooked and brought from the farm to plate and was so delicious and tasty.

Relax by the pool, unwind with a good book, no distractions other than the beautiful snow capped mountains you see in the morning when you step out of your room into the garden with the birds. Pick an orange from the rich earth and nibble on the delicious breads and honey in the fresh air.

Bakkal farm exceeded all of my expectations. The farm was beautifully landscaped, with a wide variety of products and a great selection of fruits and vegetables. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the facilities were top-notch.
