We joined a customized private tour for two people. Our driver was a local, and his service was exceptionally warm, attentive, and considerate. During the journey, he gave us detailed explanations about the cities and towns we passed, as well as the history of the old fortresses and stories of the Berber people. There was no forced shopping at all; everything was based on our own wishes, whether buying things or choosing where to have lunch. On the way to the Sahara, we passed through the Rose Valley, which is also our driver’s hometown. It was so beautiful, and he warmly invited us to meet his family. We sat together under the grapevines enjoying a traditional Moroccan afternoon tea—it was delicious and a truly classic experience. We could also feel the strong sense of family warmth, as they treated us just like their own. Before leaving, we took photos with his family, which made us especially happy. On the first day, he arranged a hotel for us near a canyon, with a small stream flowing just below. At night, we could fall asleep to the sound of running water. The dinner that evening and the breakfast the next morning were both excellent—especially the chicken tagine, flatbread, and fried eggs. After breakfast on the second day, we drove towards the Sahara Desert. Along the way, we stopped at a shop selling headscarves to protect against the strong sunlight, and we also tried Henna tattoos there, a beautiful traditional design that can be washed off. Later, we headed into the Sahara Desert. Before we set off, our luggage was transported in advance to a camp deep in the desert. We then rode camels for the first time, making our way to the desert camp. When we arrived, we enjoyed a delicious dinner, and the staff were very friendly. Our accommodation was a tent, which was very unique but well equipped, with a private shower, toilet, a double bed, and two small beds. Surprisingly, it was not too hot inside, and we could sleep comfortably. At night, we joined a bonfire party, singing around the fire late into the night. On the third day, we woke up early to watch the sunrise over the desert—it was breathtaking. Afterwards, we returned to our tent, packed our belongings, and had breakfast. We then set off back to the camel departure point, but this time we drove Quad bikes ourselves across the desert, which was super exciting and a wonderful experience. Finally, our driver friend Hamza took us back to Marrakech. It was an unforgettable experience, and we are truly grateful to our driver Hamza for being professional, thoughtful, and kind-hearted, as well as to all the friendly people we met along the way

Our driver Hamza was absolutely amazing – so kind, caring, and genuinely sweet. He took care of everything in every possible way, and we felt so comfortable throughout the whole trip. Honestly, if I could give a score, it would be 10/5 because 5 stars are just not enough! We got to experience so many different things: visiting the Rose Valley where I finally bought my dream pure rose oil and argan oil, being warmly invited to Hamza’s home, riding camels and quad bikes, enjoying a magical bonfire night under the Sahara stars while singing and playing drums together, watching both sunrise and sunset, visiting a fossil museum, trying henna, buying beautiful scarves, learning about the women’s cooperative and the traditional carpet weaving process, and sleeping in a very comfortable desert tent (surprisingly not hot at all!). All of our accommodations were excellent, especially the first night’s hotel where we even had a waterfall next window and air conditioning – everything was arranged perfectly and the schedule was flexible, which made the three days both exciting and relaxing. Hamza’s warmth and hospitality made this journey unforgettable. This tour truly let us experience the rich culture and traditions of Morocco all in one trip – we even tried camel milk! I completely fell in love with Morocco and I know I will come back again. If you’re booking a tour, I highly recommend Hamza and Morocco Desert Tour. We enjoyed every single moment and can’t praise it enough. Hamza has already become our best friend – so genuine and so passionate. ❤️🔥 Thank you for making our Morocco trip so special – we really, really loved it!

My friends and I did a 6 night, curated trip through Morocco Desert Tour at the end of September, and it was fantastic! Our guide, Ali, catered to our group, and was incredibly attentive while keeping us on track so that we got ample time in each spot that we visited and were able to make timelines (like our camel ride in the Sahara which was timed with the sunset). Ali provided tips and information as we drove through the vast landscape of Morocco. Itinerary: Marrakech - Dades Gorge - Erg Chebbi - Fes - Chefchaouen - Casablanca. We experienced so much food / culture / music in all of the places that we visited and stayed. Our camel trek and overnight in the desert was an absolute highlight. Visiting the old cities and landmarks in each city was unforgettable, and driving through the unique and ever changing landscape and terrain throughout Morocco was incredible. The people were the highlight of our Morocco experience, whether it was Ali, the guides within each city, or people welcoming us into their Riads and preparing beautiful meals for us. Some of our favorite foods included the varying tagines, the bread, breakfast crepes, and some of the more informal bbq like lamb steaks, kabobs, and an especially flavorful and delicious chicken sandwich in Fes! Morocco is definitely on my list of places to return to - while we covered so much ground in the 6 days we were there, I want to get to the coastal cities and spend some additional time in Marrakech! Thank you again Morocco Desert Tours and Ali for an unforgettable experience.
