When passing through Chimoio recently, we had been suggested Chinfura as a decent alternative to the one big hotel in town. We were willing to give them a try so reserved two double rooms in advance, for which I received a booking confirmation. Despite this, upon arrival noone was aware of our reservation. We were shown two grotty little rooms that hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests, and the shared bathroom was quite disgusting. After this we left and took in at the one big hotel in town instead. Luckily we hadn’t paid any deposit.
