Residencial e Restaurante Chinfura — Local services in Cidade de Chimoio

When passing through Chimoio recently, we had been suggested Chinfura as a decent alternative to the one big hotel in town. We were willing to give them a try so reserved two double rooms in advance, for which I received a booking confirmation. Despite this, upon arrival noone was aware of our reservation. We were shown two grotty little rooms that hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests, and the shared bathroom was quite disgusting. After this we left and took in at the one big hotel in town instead. Luckily we hadn’t paid any deposit. It’s also worth noting that this guesthouse is located on the outskirts of town, along a poor hard-to-find dirt road. At least I hear that their restaurant is supposed to be popular...

Nice venue. Staff very unprofessional, although friendly. Service regarding dinner is a nightmare. After 2 hours I was served the wrong thing. I then made sure they understood what I wanted. 2 more hours for a grilled chicken and chips. No English spoken so I used Google translate app. They still didn't understand.
