Toyota Mozambique — Local services in Maputo

I would like to commend Toyota Mozambique in Maputo for their assistance when I picked up a problem with my Toyota. They were a great help to me as a foreign tourist in trouble. I stupidly allowed an auto electrician in Inhambane to bridge the electronics on my vehicle when I had a problem with the trailer's brake lights. It caused problems with my ABS system and I arrived at Toyota Mozambique at 3 pm on Friday 17 August. One of their agents, Claudio Fernando, assisted me through the whole process and ensured their mechanics gave my problem their full attention. Dissatisfaction! Serviced my Hilux there one month ago! Suspect original altenator was exchanged for a damaged unit, as it had to be replaced 2 days after the service! Was informed that "welding" was done on the pulley!?? This vehicle has been used my myself since factory purchase. NEVER had work done on the altenator! Suspect! Also paid for wheel balancing and alignment...... was never done. Will not return to Toyota...

I have no idea how their services are but if trying to contact them is any indication then it is terrible. I would get through to the receptionist but wherever she would transfer my call, the person would pick up the phone and hang up.... 5 times I tried and they either put me on indefinite hold or hung...
