Naw Bu Baw Prayer Mountain — Local services in Hpa-An District

This mountain is in Thandaung gyi town. The mountain is 4,824 feet above sea level (higher than Taungyi). There are 374 steps on the stairway to get the peak of the mountain and 6 feet wide. ဤတောင်သည်သံတောင်ကြီး မြို့မှာတည်ရှိပါတယ်။ တောင်တော်အမြင်.ပင်လယ်ရေမျက်နှာပြင်အထက် 4824 ပေရှိ ပြီး(တောင်ကြီးမြို.ထက်ပိုမိုမြင့်မား) အဆိုပါတောင်အထွတ်အထိိ 6 ပေကျယ်သောလှေကားအထစ် 374ထစ် ရှိပါတယ်။ Very peaceful place for visitors and there are many prayer chapels are on the hill side for Christians. It is in the Kayin State (Karen) people who are mostly Christians. ဧည့်သည်များအတွက်အလွန်ငြိမ်းချမ်းသောအရပ်ဌာနဖြစ်ပြီးခရစ်ယာန်များအတွက်များစွာသောဆုတောင်းဝတ်ပြုရာ Chapel များရှိပါတယ်။ တောင်တော်သည်ခရစ်ယာန်ဘာသာဝင်အများစုနေထိုင်သောကရင်ပြည်နယ်၌တည်ရှိ၏။

By the undetermined history Naw Bu Baw was the daughter of the king of the sea and she came to these high hills to marry the local prince Saw Thaw oh Khwa who was the son of King Kiku of these highlands. The Prince and Princess were very much in love with each other ရှေးသမိုင်းအရ နော်ဘူဘောမင်းသမီးသည်သမုဒ္ဒရာဒေသရှိရှင်ဘုရင်၏သမီးတော်ဖြစ်ပြီးသူမသည်ဤအရပ်ရှိုဘုရင်ကြီး Kiku ၏သားတော် စောသော်အိုးခွားမင်းသားနှင်.လက်ထပ်ထိမ်းမြားရန်ဤမြင့်မားသောတောင်ကုန်းသို့ရောက်လာပါတယ် မင်းသားနှင့်မင်းသမီးတစ်ဦးနှင့်တစ်ဦးမေတ္တာအလွန်ရှိုကြပါတယ်။

But the Kayin people did not like Naw Bu Baw as she came from far away and because of the powers she got from her magical comb they thought that she was a witch. ဒါပေမယ့်ကရင်တိုင်းသူပြည်သားများကနောဘူဘောမင်းသမီးကိုမကြိုက်ကြပါဘူး သူမသည်ဒေသခံမဟုတ်သလိုမင်းသမီးတွင်တံခိုးရှိသော မှော်ဝင်ဘီးရှိသဖြင်းမကောင်းဆိုးဝါးစုံးအဖြစ်သတ်မှတ်ကြပါတယ် One day her husband the Prince went to the eastern mountains to repulse invading enemies. The faithful wife gave him the magical comb to enable him to disappear when his enemies attacked. တစ်နေ့မှာတော့သူမ၏ခင်ပွန်းမင်းသားသည်ရန်သူများကျူးကျော်မှုကိုတိုက်ခိုက်ရန်အရှေ့ပိုင်းတောင်သို့သွားလေ၏။ ဇနီးကသူ့ရန်သူများကိုတိုက်ခိုက်သည်.အခါအောင်မြင်ဖို့သူ့ကိုမှော်ဝင်ဘီးကိုပေးအပ်တော်မူခဲ.ပါတယ်။ ။ In spite of the courage and daring, and also the possession of the comb, the Prince died in battle. ကံမကောင်းစွာမင်းသားစစ်တိုက်ရာတွင်သေဆုံးခဲ့ပါသည်။

The people of the region blamed Naw Bu Baw and accusing her of being a sorceress they took her to the highest peak of Dawparkho Range and imprisoned her in a rock cavern. ယင်းဒေသမှလူအများမှနော်ဘူဘောကိုအပြစ်တင်ကြပြီးစုန်းအဖြစ်စွပ်စွဲကာ Dawparkho တောင်တန်း ၏အမြင့်ဆုံးအထွတ်အထိပ်မှာသူမကိုကျောက်လိုဏ်ဂူများအတွင်းချုပ်နှောင်ထားခဲ.ပါတယ်

Even today local people will show visitors where she was kept tied and locked. A trip to Naw Bu Baw mountain is full of excitements. As soon as you embark on the east side of Sittaung river, the lush evergreen forest awaits you. The tiny but highly scenic NH15 highway snakes through teak and rice growing valleys and a number of ethnic Karen villages. There are often awe-inspiring views along the 15 miles hike from Thandaung to Thandaunggyi. The steps from the bottom of prayer mountain are well made and safe at any weather. Needless to say the views from the top are always worth a 10 minutes climb. The accommodation may be a bit poor but comfortable enough for the places like this. Highly recommend for a night stop or even a day trip...

I visited here in December holiday of 2019. It was the nicest trip I have ever done in Myanmar. The view from top of this mountain is stunning. There were a lot of prayers as it was just after Christmas. I stayed there for about an hour there under a tree as it was so peaceful to my mind. It was a two night trip and we stayed at a hostel.
