Walvis Bay Airport is one of the cleanest and most well-maintained airports in Namibia. Even though it’s a small regional airport, the entire experience is smooth and comfortable from start to finish. The staff are friendly, professional, and always ready to help passengers with a smile. The airport layout is simple and easy to navigate, which makes check-in, security, and boarding very quick compared to larger international airports.
The building itself is modern, bright, and well-kept, with clean restrooms and comfortable waiting areas. The air-conditioning works well, and the place always feels neat and organized. The café inside offers good coffee, snacks, and light meals, which is great while waiting for your flight. Car rentals and taxis are easily available outside the terminal, and the airport is only about 15–20 minutes away from Walvis Bay town, making it very convenient for travelers.
The runway views are also beautiful — you can see the desert and the Atlantic Ocean from the plane, which makes takeoff and landing quite scenic. Overall, Walvis Bay Airport offers an efficient, pleasant, and relaxed travel experience that reflects the charm of Namibia. A great example of small but...
Read moreSmall airport for domestic and international flights. Despite to the Airport size, quite enough space for passengers on all waiting areas. Some small shops with souvenirs and cafeterias on the territory. Lavatories are clean. No any problem during emigration formalities or security control. Staff smile and don't ask for any presents or money. Free WiFi on the therretory, but some times the speed is low, probably depends of users quantity. In compare with other countries on Africa continent and others airports can rate for 5 stars. Generally good impression.
UPD: One year past almost all the same, only souvenirs shop is closed, probably due to Covid restrictions and small...

I have visited about 100 countries so far, but it has been a long time since I had such severe stomach pain, vomiting and diarrhoea within 30 minutes after a meal, so I will not eat in-flight meals from this company in the future and this is a company to...
